The Miz and heat go hand in hand. However, during his early days in the WWE, it wasn't the kind he'd liked to have had.
After being banished from the WWE locker room, Miz had to dress in hallways for months. The eventual WrestleMania main eventer was caught eating chicken over Scott Armstrong's travel bag, and was booted by Chris Benoit. In the trailer for But I Digress, Miz's former partner John Morrison remembered the situation.
"I remember hearing about it, I was on the other show. I wanna say the Benoit tragedy occurred and six or eight months after that, Miz had still been changing in the hall, he didn't really know what to do, because the rule is whoever kicks you out of the locker room has to be the one to invite you back in. He didn't know what to do. I think Taker may have done this. At one point, he said 'Hey kid, why do you keep changing by the garbage? What are you doing out there?' Miz explained the story and he invited Miz back in. It's hard to say Miz has ever been truly good (with the locker room). I wouldn't say the Miz is boring," said Morrison
