Johnny Gargano Challenging Ethan Page For North American Title At 10/11 WWE NXT House Show

Gargano is getting a shot at the gold.

WWE’s NXT brand is on a house show tour, and they’ve stopped through Columbus, Ohio, and the 10/10 show was in Detroit, Michigan.

#DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) have been on the tour. Backstage, there was a confrontation between Gargano and NXT North American Champion Ethan Page. The two exchanged words, and Gargano made a comment about Page carrying his bags like he used to.

That led to Page throwing a slice of pizza at Gargano, and Gargano ran over to Page and started swinging at him. It was then decided that in Gargano’s hometown of Cleveland on 10/11, he’ll be challenging Page for the North American Title.

Gargano is a three-time NXT North American Champion, and he last held the belt in 2021.

Ethan Page successfully defended the North American Title at the Detroit show against TNA’s Trey Miguel.
