A big match is set for next week's NXT as Johnny Gargano will square off with Velveteen Dream.
The match was made official by NXT General Manager William Regal during Wednesday's episode of NXT.
Gargano hobbled to the ring with the support of a crutch to address the NXT universe for the first time since his loss to Tommaso Ciampa at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV. Regal eventually made his way to ringside, still looking to get to the bottom of the "Who attacked Aleister Black?" mystery. None of this impressed the Dream, who sauntered his way down to reclaim the spotlight.
Gargano was ready to fight on the spot, using his crutch as a weapon to further annoy Velveteen.
Dream is riding high following his TakeOver victory over EC3. Meanwhile, Gargano is searching for answers after once again losing to Ciampa.
