Johnny Gargano is not injured and Austin Theory is a liar.
On Tuesday night, Austin Theory claimed Johnny Gargano was injured and could not compete at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day. Gargano was set to defend his NXT North American Championship against Kushida.
On Wednesday's NXT, Gargano entered the ring in a wheel chair with his arm in a sling. Gargano claimed to have suffered a broken arm at the hands of Kushida's attack last Wednesday. He even had the x-ray to prove it.
The whole thing turned out to be one big charade as NXT doctors cleared Gargano, who doesn't seem to know his right from his left. Kushida got the better of Gargano again, knocking him over the wheelchair.
The NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day bout is still set for Sunday.
