Johnny Gargano Pitches Podcast Where He Interviews Former WWE Extras Who Are In Character

WWE has upped its podcast game in 2025, adding shows hosted by The Undertaker & Michelle McCool, Cody Rhodes, Stephanie McMahon, and Logan Paul to its roster.

While those podcasts feature interviews with some of the biggest stars in WWE and outside of wrestling, Johnny Gargano has a different idea for a podcast.

I want to host a podcast (or a YouTube show) where I interview different former extra talent from @WWE segments throughout the years. But the catch is they’re actually speaking as the character they were that night.. not who they are now.

For example, if there was an interview with Cedrick Von Haussen. The Champion of Lichtenstein is talking.. not Johnny Gargano. I want a 100% improv’d fictional backstory about their life and recollection of that night.

It’s called “EXTRA EXTRA: HEAR ALL ABOUT IT”
