Big news on the NXT brand.
On tonight's episode of NXT it was announced that Johnny Gargano will face Roderick Strong on next week's episode. Gargano continued his rivalry with Undisputed ERA on Wednesday's episode, but was left worse for wear by the end of the night. The Adam Cole led group blamed Roderick for Cole's failure to win the NXT Title at TakeOver: New York, but things settled by the end of the night, as they laid out Gargano in a 4-on-1 beatdown. As a result of the attack, Gargano will get a shot at revenge next week when he takes on Strong.
Also announced during tonight's episode is the debut of Kushida, who will be welcomed to the brand in two weeks. Kushida officially signed with NXT the day of TakeOver: New York.
