Johnny TV States That He Had To Do Reshoots For Movie Because Of Shaved Head

In late February 2026, Johnny TV competed in CMLL and faced Ángel de Oro in a Hair versus Hair match. The 20-plus minute bout saw de Oro emerge victorious, and Johnny having to lose his hair.
While guest appearing on Off The Ropes, Johnny revealed that as a result of no longer having his hair, he had to do reshoots for a movie he filmed.
“I don’t know if you’ve seen this but we are airing Johnny Loves Taya season two currently on AEW’s YouTube channel, and the episode that aired just this past week, the premise is I just landed a huge role in a mildly-budgeted action flick called The Grenadier… It’s a movie within a show. It’s like this B-minus movie and now since I’ve shaved my head, we are doing reshoots, and I have a week — less than a week actually, to shoot The Grenadier. Not the whole movie, but some parts of the movie that are gonna air in the finale, and that is something that’s really fun for me to think of.”
Johnny TV was last in action at AEW Revolution in the 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal for the AEW National Championship.
