Jon Moxley Beats Juice Robinson, Yuta Attacks MJF, Storm Retains | AEW Fight Size

Here is your post-AEW Dynamite fight size update for Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

- Jon Moxley battled Juice Robinson in an AEW World Championship Elimininator Match on Wednesday. With a win, Robinson would have earned a title shot. Despite his best efforts, Moxley emerged victorious as he scored a submission victory.

- After the match, Hangman Page confronted Moxley. Meanwhile, Yuta snuck up on MJF in the skybox and beat up him until security guards eventually restrained him.

- Like Moxley, AEW Interim Women's World Champion Toni Storm scored a major win on Wednesday, only her title was directly on the line. Saraya turned her scheduled championship contest into a Lumberjack Match, and Storm defeated Serena Deeb to retain the gold.

- Earlier in the show, Yuta picked a fight with MJF, saying that his main problem was the way "The Salt of the Earth" put his hands on Tony Schiavone. MJF responded, saying that Yuta made a mistake when he tried to square off with "daddy" on the microphone. He credited Yuta for being a great wrestler but noted that he had as much charisma as the late Joe Frazier. MJF then agreed to face Yuta next week.

- Saraya discussed her arrival in AEW, promising to be the revolution and change the women's division. She stated that AEW is her house now.

- Former AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker took issue with Saraya's message, calling her another "new toy" in a long line of them. She said that she has put her blood, sweat, and tears into AEW. Baker also told the newcomer that she put her neck on the line for the company. and unlike Saraya, hers held up.

- ROH World Champion Chris Jericho celebrated his title win and called himself the most important champion in ROH's history.

- Tensions continued to rise between Daniel Garcia and Chris Jericho. The ROH Pure Champion told "The Wizard" that he had enough, and he didn't have to what Jericho says anymore. Bryan Danielson came to Garcia's aid and told him that, as a grown man, he can choose his path forward, whether that includes leaving the Jericho Appreciation Society, staying, or joining the Blackpool Combat Club. Garcia then challenged Jericho to a tag team match, where he and Danielson would face Jericho and Sammy Guevara.

- Danielson representated professional wrestling when he faced "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard, and he picked up the win, thanks to a little help from Claudio Castagnoli.

- In the main event, Jericho defeated Bandido to retain the ROH World Championship.

- After the bell, Jericho challenged Danielson to an ROH World Championship match and attacked Bobby Cruise.

- Luigi Primo was part of Jericho's celebration, and Garcia dropped him with a stiff shot to the face. Primo subsequently stated that he simply wanted was to make him a good pizza.

- Darby Allin and Jay Lethal are both determined to prove themselves heading into their match next week.

- The Acclaimed announced that, next week on AEW Dynamite, it will be National Scissoring Day. Keith Lee interrupted and, speaking for Swerve Strickland, noted that Billy Gunn cost them the titles. "Daddy Ass" responded by saying he had two words for Swerve: "Scissor me."

- Ricky Starks kept rolling on Wednesday; he scored a dominant win in his match against Eli Isom.

- Tensions continued to rise between Private Party and Andrade El Idolo. He reminded them that he's their boss, and Jose the Assistant told the duo to ship up or ship out. Matt Hardy had a more encouraging message; he told his former partners that, if they leave Andrade and come back to him, they'll do it right this time.

- Jungle Boy expressed his frustration with the way Christian Cage and Luchasaurus ruined his victory on AEW Rampage: Grand Slam. He vowed to hang their heads on his wall.
