Jon Moxley: Everybody Is Awesome In AEW, We Don't Have Anybody That Sucks

Jon Moxley is loving life in AEW.

AEW celebrated its first birthday this past January and in a little over a year, the company has already landed a television deal with TNT, an action figure line, international deals, and more. And for Moxley, who questioned his place in wrestling when he knew he was leaving WWE in April 2019, couldn't be happier.

"It gets you excited to come to work," he said on AEW Unrestricted. "The cool thing for me to watch is that there are all these guys that are so young and have this opportunity at a young age where they get to be on a national stage. And nobody is trying to control them or tell them what they should be. Nobody is walking around on eggshells. Darby Allin isn't showing up to the show wearing a suit, saying 'yes sir, no sir,' not trying to step on anyone's toes and scared of everybody. When you're a young guy, in years past, that's how it was there. Try not to piss anybody off. Everybody here is just cool. To see these guys have a shot on a national stage and not be manipulated, or hindered, or twisted and they get to go out and be themselves and do what they do, it's so awesome to watch. It makes you want to be apart of it. I want to learn from all these guys. Everybody is awesome. We don't have anybody that sucks."

AEW referee and Unrestricted co-host Aubrey Edwards joked that "We don't have anybody that sucks" should be the new tagline for AEW.
