Jon Moxley Helps FTR Defeat Mark Davis And Jake Doyle On AEW Dynamite
Jon Moxley helps FTR pick up a win over a hot new team.
The third championship match on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured the AEW World Tag Team Championships, as FTR defended the titles against the new duo of Jake Doyle and Mark Davis. This match was made after Doyle and Davis won a number one contenders match on the January 14 episode of Dynamite.
The finish was rather controversial, as it involved Jon Moxley and the Death Riders. Specifically, Moxley clocked Davis with a tag title belt while Paul Turner was distracted. Moments later, FTR hit their Shatter Machine finisher to win the match.
This comes after Davis and Doyle attacked Moxley during his confrontation with Konosuke Takeshita.

This was FTR’s third defense of the AEW World Tag Team Championships after winning them at Full Gear in November 2025.
