Jon Moxley recalls sewing back on his own nipple.
Moxley is no stranger to open wounds in professional wrestling, with his penchant for bleeding a common point of discourse in the wrestling fanbase. However, he has gotten used to putting himself back together after these wounds.
During the 100th episode of Hey! (EW), RJ City asked guest Jon Moxley about a match in 2010 where he almost lost a nipple that as RJ put it, 'was just hanging there'. Moxley noted that he actually sewed it back on himself after the match.
"No, it wasn't bad at all. I sewed it right back on. Yeah, it was... Flipping there for a while and like I showed it to everybody and like we had a conversation and then until everybody kind of got over it and then we're in Canada. So they said it would take forever at the emergency room and probably cost money I didn't have. So back then anything I could self fix or go to urgent care and then years later I still be getting bills from stitches I got 10 years ago. I'm pretty sure I took care of them all by now."
Moxley is currently the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, and will face off with Konosuke Takeshita in a title eliminator match at AEW Double Or Nothing.
