Jon Moxley: Renee Young Already Has People Willing To Give Her The Keys To The Castle

Renee Young finished up with WWE following SummerSlam after an eight-year run with the company. Her next move has not been decided, though she does have a cookbook scheduled to come out in 2021

Young's husband, Jon Moxley, was in a similar position to his wife last year when he left WWE and ended up in AEW.

Joining Busted Open Radio, Moxley was asked about Renee ending up in AEW with him

"I was excited for her," said Moxley about Renee leaving WWE. "She's decompressing right now. She came out here to Jacksonville with me for the pay-per-view, it was just easier. She's chilling on the beach, reading a book, just relaxing. It's a good weekend for her and her headspace, figure out what's next. I was excited for her. Time flies by so fast in WWE, I don't know if it's the schedule because it's non-stop just 'go, go.' It feels like just yesterday we met and she's been there eight years. It was time to do something new. I'll let her tell her story when she decompresses a bit. She has a strong wrestling fanbase and a strong connection to wrestling, I expect her to always have some kind of foot dipped into the water with wrestling, but she has so many other things she's good at and into like NHL, cooking, and fashion. I expect her to end up...her agent called and was like, 'my phone will not stop ringing.' She's already got people willing to give her the keys to the castle, but she might do her own thing. I don't care what she does, as long as she's happy. I'm feeding off her energy."

Moxley is set to defend the AEW World Title against MJF this Saturday at AEW All Out.

Fightful will have live coverage of AEW All Out beginning at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday.
