Jon Moxley reflects on reaching the semi finals of the AEW Continental Classic in 2025.
Following the events of AEW’s Christmas Day Collision on Thursday, Moxley would qualify for the semi finals where he will go on to face Kyle Fletcher at AEW Worlds End later tonight.
In a digital exclusive posted to AEW’s social media in the wake of Collision, Jon Moxley would preview his upcoming bout with Kyle Fletcher.
“Great year. Hell of a year. Longer than anybody knows. Challenges, ups, downs, everything in between. I’m so proud of so many people. At the end of every day, I’m frustrated. I feel like I could have done more. There’s still so much work to do, and it starts on December 27th, and it starts with me. It’s a miracle, to a couple small miracles for me to be in the semifinals, but I’m not gonna lie, I won. Got the taste of a little bit of blood on its tongue. I’m gonna chase that thing down. I’m gonna kill it. Every instinct, every fiber, everything in my body. Don Callis guys. The fancy suits in their cars, living the Don Callis lifestyle. Well, they know that’s not gonna do them any good at this point. Kyle Fletcher, he doesn’t need those things. He’s bringing a lot to the table. He’s gonna bring a lot to the table in Chicago, certainly more than me. In a situation like this, No room for error. No mistakes. Pressure mounts. Everything is on the line in this one moment. I live for this. I live for moments like this, man. Not about how often you can get it done. I mean, that’s great, but the Continental Classic? December 27th. Can you get it done? When it counts. When it really, really counts.”
