The story of Batman and The Joker is one that wrestling fans will be familiar with regardless of era they have watched, as the hero takes on the villain over and over again, mirroring the face and heel dynamic in professional wrestling.

While speaking to The Sportster at New York Comic Con, Jon Moxley was asked what heroes he would have join The Death Riders, leading to Moxley noting he wouldn’t have the iconic Batman in his faction due to him refusing to kill The Joker no matter what.

“You know, the Red Hood gets business done usually, you know. I wouldn’t have Batman, you know, because at a certain point, like, are you just not going to kill the Joker? It’s getting ridiculous. I’m a pragmatist. Come on. What are we doing here? I just can’t get with that. One chance. By the third time, you’ve escaped Arkham and gone on a murdering spree. Would you just shoot him?”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Moxley spoke about AEW and DC Comics’ upcoming two part crossover event. You can read more about that here.
