Devlin is ready to break through.

The 29-year old Ireland native Jordan Devlin is one of sixteen competitors slated for this weekend's 'Super Strong Style 16' tournament hosted by PROGRESS Wrestling. Devlin is scheduled to take on Lucky Kid in the first round of the tournament on May 4th. Devlin sees this opportunity as a shot for him to further establish himself as one of the best professional wrestlers in the world as he is done being viewed as "underrated" or a "well kept secret" and wants to put the world on notice that he is a top guy in the sport.

“Winning Super Strong Style 16 means everything to me." Jordan Devlin said during an interview with 'Daily Star'. "I'm tired of being 'criminally underrated'. I don't want to be a hidden gem or a well-kept secret anymore, I want everyone to see how hard I've worked to evolve and develop into the wrestler I am today.” Devlin added: “This past year or so has been the biggest of my career, by far. I've wrestled more in the last 18 months than I did in the the previous 5 years probably, all over the world and for some of the biggest companies in the world. Its been a pleasure."

Jordan Devlin further expressed that he is walking into the Super Strong Style 16 tournament focused and will not be there to laugh and joke with his good friends in the tournament and feels that when it's all said and done, he will have established himself as a premiere wrestler in Europe.

"I'm not going into Super Strong Style 16 to have a nice time or work with my friends." He said. "From the second that first bell on night one goes until the three count lands in the final, it'll be all business for me, no matter who finds themselves in the ring with me. Super Strong Style 16 is where I establish myself as the premier professional wrestler in Europe, and I prove to the wrestling world that you never bet against the Ace.”

Jordan Devlin is a part of the NXT U.K. brand and Fightful will have live coverage of today's episode of NXT UK once it airs on the WWE Network.
