Jordan Myles Speaks Out Against WWE T-Shirt, Says Shirt Is "What's Wrong With America & Wrestling"

Jordan Myles unhappy over WWE t-shirt.

Jordan Myles took to social media to express his unhappiness over a WWE shop shirt that was released in September. The shirt had Myles' name in large white letters on a red background, depicting a smile, a nod to Myles' on-screen gimmick. Myles called out the shirt for its racist connotation, calling it a "slap in the face to EVERY African American performer, fan, and supporter."

Myles also retweeted the following tweet, showing the potential reference that the smiling logo design was taken from.

The image comes from photographer David Levinthal's Blackface series.

The shirt has since been pulled from the WWE shop, and as of this writing, Myles has no shirts in the shop. However, he does have a shirt listed on WWE's custom tees shop. The new shirt has a more Looney Tunes style logo with Myles' name in front of a red oval background. But the change did not satisfy Myles.

Myles won the 2019 NXT Breakout Tournament but has not been used on NXT television since losing to Adam Cole on the Aug. 15 episode of the show.
