Jose Canseco is part of a wrestling promotion now.
World Class Revolution Pro Wrestling is a wrestling promotion operating out of Oklahoma but has been holding events in other states like Texas and Kansas. On Monday, the CEO of the company Jerry Bostic announced they had signed former Major League Baseball slugger Jose Canseco. The following is a portion of the statement from the promotion's Facebook account.
"We couldn't be happier to welcome Jose into our family that represents equality, diversity, family, and love. Jose is without a doubt one of the greatest athletes professional baseball has ever seen," said Bostic. "We’re starting to effectively combine pop culture with our wrestling product and we’re seeing great results thus far and we’re just getting started. I would like to personally thank both Jose and his agent Morgan for this opportunity to do business together," he added.
It is unclear if Canseco intends on being a professional wrestler. The statement made not mention of him wrestling and recently Bostic backtracked after announcing the signing of reality star Farrah Abrahams. He signed Abrahams but then clarified it was not for wrestling matches.

Canseco has not competed in professional wrestling before but he does have one mixed-martial-arts loss on his record.
Fightful Wresting will continue to monitor the promotion and interesting signings in the future.
