Joseph Sawyer Is Excited To Speak More In TNA, Syx Discuss Transition From WWE

Syx (Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw) made a quick impact in TNA, taking out the Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy).

The duo were aligned as the Wyatt Sicks in WWE, and have continued to team together on the independent scene following their WWE releases in April.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Sawyer & Shaw discussed the opportunities in TNA.

“For me, it was pretty easy. I was just excited to get a microphone in my hand a little bit. Anyone that watched us for the two years we were on SmackDown, we didn’t really get that chance too much to do that. For me, I relished every moment that I had that I was able to actually speak. That was awesome. As far as the transition, I think we’ll be able to do a little bit more of what we had a chance to do previously, and it’s something we wanted to do. We’re very ready to do that,” said Sawyer.

Shaw added, “Joe and I were tag team champions in WWE. They sort of gave us the ball, and I believe we capitalized and delivered on a lot of our opportunities. We’re looking at this as another huge opportunity, and we want to progress the team and these characters. We want to show the world that we don’t stay in one category and that we can do a lot of things, and that perhaps some opportunities were missed in the other company. TNA, so far, has been very open to our ideas and working with us in goals and accomplishments we’d like to see through.”

Syx will take on the Hardys at Bound For Glory in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
