Major happenings at the end of GCW The Crossroads.

If Sawyer had won, he was going to take the championship with him.
At GCW Score on September 26, Joseph Sawyer walked out on his GCW Title defense against John Jeffrey after suffering an apparent knee injury. In the moment, an upset Sawyer stated that he thought he would be out for months. He later said he would be okay and showed up for other bookings.
With the GCW Title back in possession of a GCW talent, the celebration was short-lived as Mance Warner and EFFY returned to the promotion, attacking Cogar.
Neither had wrestled for GCW since April during WrestleMania weekend.
