Joseph Sawyer To Defend GCW Title Against Atticus Cogar On November 7

Joseph Sawyer is still the GCW World Champion.
During GCW Fight, GCW promoter Brett Lauderdale was seemingly going to strip Sawyer of the GCW World Title, but Sawyer appeared on the video screen to address the situation himself.
Sawyer said that there were some truths to what was being said, but it was a whole lot of bullshit. He said he didn’t want to come back to GCW because he got hurt, he got booed for getting hurt, and then he got attacked online for getting hurt. “Why would I want to come back?”
Sawyer said he didn’t need to step foot in the locker room or be in front of the ungrateful GCW fanbase. Sawyer said he’s paid his dues and that Atticus Cogar is wasting his time in GCW and for cheap pops.
Sawyer said he has GCW by the balls because he has the GCW Title, but he’s not a bitch, so he’s willing to put the GCW Title on the line on November 7 in a match with no rules. Sawyer said when he wins, he’s taking the title with him.

At GCW Score on September 26, Joseph Sawyer walked out on his GCW Title defense against John Jeffrey after suffering an apparent knee injury. In the moment, an upset Sawyer stated that he thought he would be out for months. He later said he would be okay and has upcoming bookings, including TNA Bound For Glory on Sunday.
