Josh Alexander Doesn't See A Reunion With Ethan Page, 'We Play In Separate Sandboxes'

During their time in IMPACT Wrestling, The North (Josh Alexander & Ethan Page) were widely considered to be one of the best tag teams in all of wrestling.

The duo split in 2021 when Page left IMPACT to join AEW. Meanwhile, Alexander remained in IMPACT and went on to become IMPACT World Champion.

Speaking to Sportskeeda, Alexander was asked about a possible North reunion.

"We kind of play in separate sandboxes and we really don't have much of a relationship anymore because of that. I'm really not focused on anything tag team wrestling. If I were to tag would anybody, honestly, I don't think Ethan Page would be my first pick right now," he said.

Page is still signed to AEW, but hasn't wrestled since the August 16 episode of AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen when he teamed with Isiah Kassidy.

When asked who he would pick as his partner, Alexander replied, "It's tough to say now going into Bound For Glory, but I think I would have to pick Alex Shelley as my partner, even though he has a long and storied history with Motor City Machine Guns. I think the blend together would be nice. If I had to pick anybody else, it'd be Mike Bailey, just for the Canadian Connection and hopefully we can bring back Team Canada 2.0 one day."

Alexander is set to challenge Shelley for the IMPACT World Title at IMPACT Bound For Glory.
