Josh Alexander comments on Jordynne Grace's appearance in the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble.
When Jordynne Grace entered the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble Match, she became the first woman to debut in the annual Battle Royal while representing another promotion. Grace proudly represented TNA Wrestling and her Rumble appearance also allowed her to tangle up one more time with Trinity Fatu (WWE's Naomi).
Josh Alexander recently commented on her appearance during an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. Alexander said he got goosebumps watching Grace make her entrance and tears began to form as he saw Grace and Naomi come to blows one more time.
“I watched it live, and the second her music hit, I got goosebumps,” said Alexander. “When she locked up with Trin [Trinity Fatu, who starred in TNA before returning to WWE], who I’ve been lucky enough to build a relationship with over the past year, I literally welled up.
“Seeing that moment for my friend Jordynne Grace, someone who tirelessly puts in work, she deserved that fanfare. It’s great for TNA, it’s great for her, and it’s great for our locker room. I thought she had the best performance of anyone in the Royal Rumble, and that is a testament to the talent that she is.”
