Josh Alexander Thinks Jake Doyle & Mark Davis Could Be ‘New-Age Version’ Of Stan Hansen & Terry Gordy

Alexander has high praise for Davis and Doyle.
Arriving at All Elite Wrestling as the newest member of The Don Callis Family was Jake Doyle a.k.a. Jake Something. He was paired up with Mark Davis, and the duo is branded as Davis and Doyle.
Speaking about the newly-formed duo was fellow Don Callis Family member Josh Alexander. He did so on the Battleground Podcast and said seeing Doyle in AEW put a big smile on his face because of their friendship and time together in TNA Wrestling.
Alexander believes Davis and Doyle could be a new-age version of Stan Hansen and Terry Gordy. Alexander also spoke about seeing fellow former TNA colleagues, The Rascalz, at AEW.
“Well, the second I heard about Jake Something joining The Don Callis Family and AEW altogether now — Jake Doyle — it put this immense smile on my face. That guy has been one of my best friends for the past six, seven years. One of my favorite people in any wrestling locker room. We enjoy the same things, we like to work out, we like to eat steak. I don’t know. We’ve always got along really well so I think it was a match made in heaven, especially with him tagging up with Mark Davis. I think you’re looking at a new-age version of (Stan) Hansen and (Terry) Gordon. When they get in the ring, just smashing people around so I’m elated to see it but, even Wednesday when I walked down to get on the bus to go to the show and I saw The Rascalz sitting there, I was just like, ‘Man, this is great…’”
It was advertised that The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed, Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) were all signed to All Elite Wrestling. Fightful Select reported that Trey Miguel had been let go from his contract with AEW. Miguel sent out a tweet after the news broke.
