Josh Briggs is going to NXT Deadline.
Josh Briggs defeated Carmelo Hayes on the November 21 episode of NXT to advance to NXT Deadline on December 9, where he joins Dijak and Trick Williams in the Iron Survivor Challenge. Should he win, Briggs will get an opportunity to become the NXT Champion.
He owes part of his win to Lexis King, the son of Brian Pillman distracted Melo, opening the door for the moonsault from Briggs that sealed the deal.

This match was originally made by JBL, who was encouraging of Briggs as a former tag team competitor himself.
