JR Kratos Injured, Oskar Leube To Face Mystery Opponent At NJPW STRONG Independence Day Night Two

JR Kratos has been pulled from NJPW STRONG Independence Day Night Two.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced that Kratos suffered a head wound during his match at NJPW STRONG Independence Day Night One on July 4. As a result, he has not been cleared to compete at the July 5 event. He was scheduled to face Oskar Leube at the show. Leube will now face a mystery opponent instead.

As a result of a head wound sustained in yesterday’s Independence Day event, JR Kratos, who had been scheduled to wrestle Oskar Leube tonight in Korakuen Hall, has not been cleared to compete.

We apologise to fans who had been looking forward to seeing Kratos wrestle, and appreciate your understanding.

The following change has been made to tonight’s card:

Leube’s opponent will be revealed when their entrance music plays.

Kratos, Jorel Nelson and Royce Isaacs defeated Ryohei Oiwa, Alex Zayne, and Lance Archer at NJPW STRONG Independence Day Night One. Catch up on our coverage here.
