Professional wrestlers are often fans of the sport going back to their childhood, and one half of Cryme Tyme is no different, as he has noted in a new interview.

While speaking to The Feinics Gate Podcast, JTG was asked about his childhood inspirations in his wrestling fandom, with the former Cryme Tyme member noting that Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart and The Rock were his inspirations growing up.

“It started with Hulk Hogan, and then around, I’ll say around 7, 8, Bret the Hitman Hart. That was the one that did it for me. When I was in high school, what gave me the extra like (boost) was The Rock.  I got three phases. Yeah, I’m an Attitude Era man, yeah. Then, I was blessed enough to debut into the WWE right at the tail end of the Attitude Era, and I came into the Ruthless Aggression Era.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, JTG spoke about the positives of working in a tag team in the wrestling industry. You can read more about that here.
