The Judgment Day Retain WWE Tag Team Championships vs New Catch Republic At WWE Elimination Chamber

The Judgment Day remain on top of the WWE's tag team division.

At WWE Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia on Saturday morning, the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships were on the line as The Judgment Day defended their titles vs the team of Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne, who previously won a mini tournament to earn their shot at the gold. Furthermore, Bate and Dunne defeated the champions on Friday's edition of SmackDown.

Before the match, Dominik Mysterio would take a mic to try announce for Judgment Day, but the fans booed him until Tyler Bate attacked him to kick off the match. While Judgment Day would take back control of the match, the crowd made sure to let Dominik Mysterio know what they thought of him with a range of chants.

The match was a high octane affair, with the New Catch Republic more than holding their own despite having the numbers disadvantage with Mysterio at ringside. After a flurry of offence from the challengers, Dunne would hit the Bitter End on Finn Balor, with Dominik saving the match by putting Balor's foot on the rope. Mysterio would be ejected by the referee, with Balor capitalizing on the distraction, looking for Coup De Grace but Dunne moved out of the way, with New Catch Republic hitting their double team finisher, only for Damian Priest to save the matchup.

After some more back and forth between the teams, Priest would hit a double South Of Heaven to the challengers, with Finn Balor climbing to the top rope to hit Coup De Grace to Pete Dunne for the victory.

The champions will now turn their attention to WrestleMania season, as it is unclear who will be next for the champs heading into The Showcase of The Immortals.
