Juice Robinson Says He's Finishing With NJPW At The End Of April, Has No Urge To Wrestle

Juice Robinson is finishing up with NJPW.

Robinson has been a staple on NJPW STRONG since the pandemic and was a regular for NJPW in Japan before the pandemic.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Juice says he has no plans to return to Japan once his contract expires.

"I don't have any plans to travel back over. I am at the end of my contract. I did an extra three-month extension and that ends April 30. That will be that. I will not be wrestling under the New Japan banner any longer," he said. "I was there for nine months, I did four quarantines. A lot happened. When we stopped going, it was that boiling over point, they allowed us to go home, then STRONG kind of took off and we were needed. Two things happened, we did ask to not be going any longer, but then we were needed for STRONG because you need Jay White and guys to fill up the show.

Later in the interview, when asked who out there he would like to wrestle, Juice replied, "I don't really have anybody that I want to wrestle. I just don't have the urge to wrestle, really, anymore."

Robinson is set to compete at NJPW Windy City Riot when he teams with David Finlay & Brody King in a street fight against JONAH, Shane Haste & Bad Dude Tito.

Juice mentioned that this is the last booking he has scheduled.
