Jun Akiyama vs. Miyu Yamashita Announced For DDT’s 8/17 Show

A special singles match.

As DDT Pro-Wrestling was rolling out match announcements for their upcoming slate of shows, it was made official that at their 8/17 event in Osaka, Japan, Jun Akiyama will meet Miyu Yamashita in a singles bout.

Yamashita is representing Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling. DDT, Pro Wrestling NOAH, and TJPW are all under the CyberFight umbrella.

Yamashita is coming off the heels of competing in the USA as a part of TJPW’s tour in Texas. She was also in action at ROH Supercard of Honor in the Interim ROH Women’s World Television Title match.

It’ll be the first time that Yamashita and Akiyama have shared the ring.
