Kai Kavari Announces WWE Departure
Kai Kavari (Cyrus Habibi-Likio) has announced his WWE departure.
In a new social media video, Kavari said that he signed a three-year deal with WWE, but has made the decision to leave the company.
He said that he feels like his life belongs in California with his family and that he’s having a hard time starting his California real estate business going while he’s in Florida.
“When you start with WWE, you don’t get paid the most. Potentially, you can make bread. I’m not at a time in my life where I can live off of potential. Being brutally honest, I can go back to California and make main roster money in real estate,” he said.
Finally, he said his faith was the final reason he was leaving. He thanked WWE, gave a shoutout to coach Matt Bloom, and said there are genuine people in the company. He did leave the door open for a potential return to wrestling.

Kavari was signed in 2025. He has wrestled on WWE EVOLVE and NXT live events.
