Kairi Sane has sailed to SmackDown.
Last week, Paige promised to debut a new tag team to challenge The IIconics. She delivered on her promise this week, announcing that she will be representing Asuka and NXT call-up Kairi Sane. Paige's announcement was made during a segment featuring a rotating cast of female superstars including the freshly drafted Bayley & Ember Moon, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, and The IIconics.
The segment broke down into an eight-woman tag team match with Sane & Asuka teaming with Bayley & Moon to face The IIconics and Sonya & Mandy. The bout was won by Sane when she hit the InSane Elbow on Peyton Royce.
