The WWE-contracted talent is out.
NJPW is currently presenting their 'Fighting Spirit Unleashed' show at the 'Walter Pyramid' in Long Beach, California. The show has been running for an hour with a number of bouts left to go. As the six man tag team match featuring Davey Boy Smith Jr., Lance Archer and Zack Sabre Jr. versus Tetsuya Naito, EVIL and SANADA was about to kick-start, the camera panned over to the crowd and showed the current NXT Women's Champion Kairi Sane and Mae Young Classic finalist Io Shirai in the crowd.
Those two former World Of STARDOM Champions were not the only familiar faces in the house tonight from the NXT brand. The man who calls the action for the black-and-yellow brand and who is also a former NJPW commentator himself, Mauro Ranallo was in attendance at 'Fighting Spirit Unleashed' as well to catch some of the action.
