Kali Armstrong Accepts Her Rookie of the Year Award from Fightful: “This Is A Dope Accomplishment”
Kali Armstrong has won the 2025 Fightful Award for Rookie of the Year.
In her first full year as a pro wrestler, Kali Armstrong burst onto the scene in WWE Evolve. She had standout matches against Kendal Gray.
“Honestly, I knew from the beginning that this was going to be special because me and her
have great chemistry. We came in together. We started together. Our first match ever was
together. So I figured we’d have great chemistry, but there was a moment early on in the
match when the crowd was hype. It wasn’t even [faulty?] territory. We was just having a
match and then the crowd was erupting. I was like, ‘If they’re erupting right here, wait
‘till they say we have later.’ It was amazing,” Kali told Fightful about the feud.
Kali was presented with the Rookie of the Year award, capping off her year of accomplishments that included the EVOLVE Championship.
“This means so much to me. This is honestly a dope accomplishment,” said Kali.
The cutoff date for rookie of the year was June 1, 2024.
