Kane To Donate WWE Royal Rumble Appearance Fee To TCAT Knoxville Scholarship Fund

Kane is giving back after his surprise appearance in the WWE Royal Rumble. 

According to WVLT, Kane announced he will donate his earnings from his appearance at WWE Royal Rumble to the Knox County Mayor’s Applied Technology Scholarship Fund for TCAT Knoxville.

Kane, real name Glenn Jacobs, is the current Mayor of Knox County. 

Kane received a COVID-19 rapid test before leaving office, when he arrived in Tampa for the Royal Rumble, and before returning to work as the Mayor. According to his office, he also wore a face mask and kept his distance from others when not performing. 

Kane entered the Men's Royal Rumble at number 18, scored two eliminations in under two minutes, and was eliminated by Damian Priest. Kane put over Priest in his post-match interview with WWE, which you can watch in the video above. 

"The Big Red Machine" made history in the Rumble, making his 18th appearance in the match, more than any WWE superstar ever.
