Kane has terrified members of the WWE Universe for 20 years, but now he may look to impress voters in Knoxville, Tennessee.
"The Big Red Machine" spoke to Rare.Us about possibly running for Mayor of Knoxville. During the interview, the former WWE Champion also spoke about what his idea of the American dream is.
“To me, the American dream is the ability to create the life that you want…if we can get back to that, that the American dream is the opportunity, the ability to create the life that you want so long as you’re not hurting anyone else, to live that life…if someone could come along with that message, it’d be awesome," said Kane.
Kane, real name Glen Jacobs, was asked about some of the top tasks he has in mind.
“The more free states are the ones that are going to see an influx of people coming in. In the South, where we have more economic freedom, we’re seeing a migration coming from the North because there are more opportunities where I live in Tennessee, whereas the economies of the Northeast and the Rust Belt aren’t," Kane said.
