Karen Jarrett: Dixie Carter Nuked Jeff Jarrett’s Whole Fucking Life
In 2009, Jeff Jarrett connected with Karen Jarrett, the ex-wife of Kurt Angle. Kurt and Karen had been separated and their divorce was finalized in October 2008.
Jeff and Karen’s relationship drew the ire of TNA President Dixie Carter, who placed Jarrett on a leave of absence and attempted to gain more control of the company.
On the season seven premiere of Dark Side of the Ring, Karen spoke out against Dixie and her reaction to learning of her relationship with Jeff.
“Jeff Jarrett, the delusional optimist, that always looks at things in a positive way thought Dixie Carter would actually be happy for him. Lost his wife, has three daughters that he has to take care of, found love a second time. How rare is that? Instead, what did she do? She nuked his whole fucking life,” said Karen.
Jeff said, “I was given documents sent from Panda Energy that had me removed and said that I was no longer executive producer, no longer head of creative. I get the lawyer calls, ‘Hey Jeff, we’re going to send you home with pay. We just have to let things subside,’ and all this kind of nonsense that I knew exactly what was going on.”
The power struggle played out behind the scenes and on television as Dixie brought in Hulk Hogan to oppose Jarrett.
