Karl Anderson is headed back to NJPW.
Karl Anderson announced he will defend his NEVER Openweight Title at the NJPW event on December 14. He did not name an opponent. He was originally scheduled to defend the title against Hikuleo at the NJPW November 5 Battle Autumn event. He was double booked on that date and instead competed at WWE Crown Jewel.
Doc Gallows will be by Anderson's side at the NJPW event.
December 14 marks the finals for NJPW World Tag League and Super Junior Tag League.
Anderson was not stripped of his NEVER Openweight Title and ensured fans he would return to the promotion to defend the title.
Fightful Select reported on October 26 that there were still plans for Anderson to return to Japan.
