Karl Fredericks Recounts Being Signed To WWE While Triple H Supports Trump Administration

Candid comments from Karl Fredericks.
Weeks after USA President Donald Trump took office in January 2025, Linda McMahon was sworn in as the United States Secretary of Education. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, along with Stephanie McMahon, was in attendance for Linda’s nomination hearing.
Levesque works directly with the Trump administration as Vice Chair of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition. He and WWE talents have also made multiple appearances with U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Former WWE talent Karl Fredericks was interviewed by Ray Petree of Augusta Free Press and recounted being under contract with the company as Levesque was showing support for Trump. In addition to that, Fredericks stated that it weighed heavily on him to see the ICE raids and that amplified when he saw it happening to Native Americans. He said being in an environment where there’s support for the administration that deployed those acts was not a place where he could happily thrive.
“I got the f*cking Vice President lying on my f*cking people. The same colonial bullshit and lies that we’re f*cking cannibals. ICE, at the time, was just getting going with this bullsh*t while I’m under contract with WWE. White men are writing for me. I got f*cking immigration detaining, harassing, abusing my people. The fact that they’re doing it to anybody already has me hot, right? But then it’s the f*cking Natives, you know? My people. What the f*ck do you mean immigration’s detaining my people? I got to deal with Paul Levesque going on TV and talking about Trump while this is happening: ‘Well, you know, here’s a guy that can generate heat.’ What a stupid f*cking thing to say. But, again, on my end, they just think my culture’s ‘cool.’ That’s who these people are. It’s all just stuff to them. It’s not f*cking real. It was not the environment for me to happily thrive.”
In early 2026, R.F.K. Jr. credited Linda McMahon for the role she played in his niece Zoe Hines being signed to WWE.
