Karmen Petrovic Was First Approached About Being Part Of AAA’s Perros del Mal Faction In November 2025

It was in 2025 that Karmen Petrovic was first approached.

Under WWE’s presentation of Lucha Libre AAA, the Perros del Mal faction returned in June 2026. The revamped version started with Daga, Karmen Petrovic, Bronco Nima, Angel, and Berto. Present day, Nima is no longer with the group, as he was kicked out.

While speaking to the Toronto Sun, Petrovic shared that she was first approached about being part of Perros del Mal in November 2025.

“I was approached, I believe it was sometime last year actually. It was around maybe November time of last year. So they actually had plans to debut us a lot earlier but it was just about understanding when the best timeframe would be to debut, especially this faction that has so much history in Mexico and the legacy and everything around it so they wanted to make sure it was perfect. I guess the anticipation, the waiting was kind of driving me crazy too because I couldn’t wait. Oh my gosh, I don’t even know. I wanna say, like, outside of myself, outside my body with the opportunity, just knowing, especially everything that the faction holds and the amount of weight that would be on our shoulders. But it was more so excitement and I couldn’t wait to just get out there and be in front of the Mexican crowd as well because I never had the opportunity to do that before.”

Daga, Angel, and Berto are the reigning AAA World Trios Champions. They are going to be defending the belts on October 24th at AAA Héroes Inmortales.
