One of the matches on the bill saw J.R.Kratos versus WWE's Karrion Kross. Kross scored the win via submission. While guest appearing on The Ariel Helwani Show, Kross looked back on the experience and said he was "over the moon" about participating.

"I got the heads-up from (William) Regal (to participate in Bloodsport). I can’t remember how far out it was but I was just over the moon. Over the moon about it."

The last time Kross was in action was at the 5/12 taping of WWE Main Event. He picked up a win over Tyler Bate in singles competition.
