Karrion Kross Says He Was Supposed To Be In 2025 Royal Rumble, But Was Pulled Last Minute

Karrion Kross (Killer Kross on the independent scene) was off WWE television after the Final Testament feud with the Wyatt Sicks concluded in December 2024.

Kross returned to TV in March on WWE Main Event, but he says he was originally planned for the Royal Rumble.

“I was supposed to be in the Rumble, they pulled me out of the Rumble last minute. It did feel like my presence was shrinking quite a bit. I took it back. I tried to get involved on social media. Started creating character pieces and fun stuff for people to watch. I tried to make little things I had backstage mean as much as possible. The audience actually forced their hand to use me. It was the audience that called for me to be a bigger part of the show,” Kross told Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture.

Kross started to get consistent TV time in backstage segments leading into WrestleMania and following WrestleMania and going into WWE SummerSlam.

Elsewhere during the interview, Kross commented on the end of the Wyatt Sicks vs. Final Testament feud. You can find his full comments here.
