Katsuyori Shibata: After I Win The FTW Title In Las Vegas, I'm Going To See Carrot Top. He Is Funny.

Katsuyori Shibata is a man of culture.

Katsuyori Shibata arrived on the May 24 episode of AEW Rampage with one goal in mind, to stick it to Chris Jericho and Big Bill. He did just that as he attacked Big Bill, who was at the commentary table with Chris Jericho. With Bill separated from Jericho, HOOK seized the moment and locked Jericho in the Red Rum, coming from behind him and choking him out from behind the barricade that separates the crowd from the performers.

Later in the show, Renee Paquette asked both HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata if their actions earlier in the night were a sign that they were going to be on the same page when they face Chris Jericho for the FTW Title at AEW Double or Nothing. HOOK seemed determined that he would go through whomever he needed to to get his family heirloom back.

This led to a heated confrontation between HOOK and Samoa Joe with the veteran performer trying to motivate the son of Taz.

Once all of that was done, Shibata, through the translation app on his phone, informed Renee of his very special plans to celebrate his potential FTW Championship victory on May 26.

"After I win the FTW title in Las Vegas, I’m going to see Carrot Top. He is funny," said the voice assistant on his phone.

Unfortunately for Shibata, there are no immediate shows from Carrot Top on Sunday night or the following Monday. After AEW Double or Nothing, the next time Shibata would be able to see Carrot Top would be on Monday, June 3.

He can, however, see Carrot Top on the day before Double or Nothing. If any fans would like to see Carrot Top live in Vegas, learn more about ticket information here.
