Kay Lee Ray likes to say that she will be NXT UK Women's Champion forever and thus far, nobody has been able to prove her wrong.
Kay Lee Ray is the third NXT UK Women's Champion. She earned the championship by defeating Toni storm on August 31, 2019. That was the date of NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff. In the time since, Kay Lee has defeated the likes of Piper Niven, Jinny, and most recently, Meiko Satomura.
Much like WALTER’s historic title reign with the men's equivalent NXT UK Championship, there will always be an asterisk in the history books when discussing these championship reigns because of the hiatus that NXT UK was forced to undergo due to the emerging Global pandemic in 2020.
To celebrate her historic reign, Kay Lee posted a simple social media humblebrag with the hashtag “#ForeverChampion.”

Recently, Shawn Michaels praised Kay Lee Ray, during an interview with Inside The Ropes. Shawn Michaels would say that she is “the greatest” and call her the best-kept secret of “NXT UK.”
