Kazuchika Okada Appears On 6/21 AEW Dynamite, Confronts Bryan Danielson

Kazuchika Okada ended AEW Dynamite with a bang.

Bryan Danielson called out Okada on the June 21 episode of AEW Dynamite. Before he did, he stated that he would prove that Okada was an amateur when they clashed at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, and if he didn't appear on AEW Dynamite, that meant he was a coward as well.

Danielson came to the ring at the end of the show after the Blackpool Combat Club attacked Eddie Kingston who agreed to team up with Hangman Page and The Young Bucks to face the faction at the pay-per-view. Danielson noted that he didn't think Okada would show up, so he would stomp Tomohiro Ishii, Kingston's pick for their team, instead.

Okada came to the ring and stared Danielson down. Wheeler Yuta attacked him from behind, but Okada gained the upper hand and hit him with The Rainmaker. He tried to fight Danielson, but "The American Dragon" got away.

Throughout the night, the broadcast team noted that Danielson's match with Okada would be the main event of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
