Kazuchika Okada Beats Kenny Omega, Becomes AEW Unified Champion At AEW All In

Kazuchika Okada made history at AEW All In, becoming the first-ever AEW Unified Champion.

Okada defeated Kenny Omega in the co-main event of the evening, finishing him off with the Rainmaker.

Okada is now the AEW Continental Champion, AEW International Champion, and AEW Unified Champion.

During the bout, Omega looked to have the match won with the One Winged Angel, but Callis pulled the referee out of the ring. Aubrey Edwards came to the ring to become the replacement referee. Omega kicked out of a rainmaker shortly after Edwards became the referee, but he could not survive the second Rainmaker shortly after.

This was the fifth bout between Okada and Omega. Omega entered with a 2-1-1 advantage over Okada. The record now stands at 2-2-1.

This is the first reign as AEW International Champion for Okada. Omega’s reign ends at 126 days with two successful title defenses. Okada has now made 13th title defenses of the AEW Continental Championship.
