At AEW All Out, Tommaso Ciampa challenged Kazuchika Okada for the AEW International Championship. This was Okada’s first title defense after winning the belt 28 days ago at AEW All In.

At one point in the match, Okada took out Ciampa in front of his family sitting at ringside. Okada flipped off Ciampa’s daughter, Willow, after she denied him a high five. After getting permission from her mother, Willow showed two middle fingers to Okada in return.
By then, Ciampa had recovered, and he launched an attack on the International Champion from behind.
