On the July 23 edition of TNA iMPACT!, KC Navarro went up against Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship. The bout ended with Nemeth hitting the Danger Zone on Navarro for the victory.
Speaking with Rewind Recap Relive, Navarro was asked what he had learned while working with Nemeth on TNA.
“To just… You have to be yourself and not care. A lot of people will come after you for your attitude or if you’re too good. You have to ignore the noise cause that was something that I used to struggle with. He taught me how to ignore the noise, go out there and only worry about one thing and that’s stealing the show.”
