KC Navarro Not Cleared To Compete On 7/31 TNA iMPACT Due To Knee Injury

Navarro reaggravated his knee.

Going into TNA Slammiversary, K.C. Navarro had bounced back from a dislocated left knee injury. He would ultimately be cleared and go on to compete at the pay-per-view in a four-way Ladder match for the TNA World Tag Team Championships.

Navarro was scheduled to team with A.J. Francis and TNA World Champion Trick Williams on the 7/31 TNA iMPACT, but it was revealed that he reaggravated his knee at Slammiversary and is not cleared to compete.

Navarro was involved in the main event of the program that saw Williams and Francis versus The System (Moose & Eddie Edwards). Navarro accidentally hit Williams with his crutch, and that led to Moose pinning the World Champion.

As a result, Moose now has a TNA World Title match at Emergence. Here is the updated lineup for that special on 8/15:

  • TNA World Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Moose
  • TNA X Division Championship: Leon Slater (c) vs. Cedric Alexander
  • Mike Santana vs. Sami Callihan
