Keiji Muto teamed with Shota Umino & Hiroshi Tanahashi to defeat Tetsuya Naito, SANADA, & BUSHI in Muto's final NJPW match. Muto hit a couple of shining wizards throughout the bout and teased during a moonsault, but was prevented by Tanahashi.

The finish saw Umino hit BUSHI with the death rider to score the win.

Muto is currently on his retirement tour, which will conclude on February 21, 2023. He is set to compete in his last bout as The Great Muta on January 22, 2023. Muto is a former IWGP Tag Team Champion and four-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion in NJPW. He had his final match as The Great Muta in NJPW at NJPW x Stardom Historic X-Over.
