Keiji Mutoh Says IYO SKY’s Moonsault Is Way More Beautiful Than His

Keiji Mutoh (The Great Muta) hit a moonsault or two during his day, and is often credited with popularizing the move in Japan and America.

IYO SKY has drawn praise for her version of the move, which is called the Over the Moonsault.

Speaking to ABEMA (translation via Mera Wrestling), Mutoh said of IYO’s moonsault, “IYO SKY’s moonsault is way more beautiful than mine.”

IYO reacted to Mutoh’s comments, saying, “I’m truly overwhelmed by that. I’m so happy, I can’t even put into words.” 

SKY used the over the moonsault to defeat Raquel Rodriguez on Monday’s WWE Raw.
